When we first met we were visiting a lake-side beach in Ontario, Canada and ended up feeding some seagulls our leftover Pringles snacks. Some lady walks buy and snaps at us to "Stop feeding them or they'll NEVER go home!"
... At which point me and Tania burst into laughter because it's the beach lady, where the hell do you think seagulls live?
So that little moment was the inspiration for this passport cover. It could definitely be better made, but I rather like it and I love the hand-sewn appliques on the front and back.

I'm pretty happy with it overall and hope she likes it at least. I have another planned passport cover also related to a funny moment from that same vacation trip to Canada but it might be awhile till I get around to making it. I know I made some mistakes with this one and I really kinda just made it up as I went along. Perhaps the next one will be better constructed.
